Join us as we bid good journeys to two Patriots of distinction
Andy Horning's Going Away Party I hesitate to call this a party.... but alas, it is sadly true. Indiana's Premiere and Supreme Constitutional Statesmen is leaving us for Texas. Come join us thank him for his service, and bid he and his family farewell and good luck in their relocation to Texas. Texas owes us. Big time. Also joining the event will be Mike Maresco, whose transit of the United States on bicycle for the cause of Liberty, happens to coindide with the event. From Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/event.php?eid=80912114660&ref=nf
"Unfortunately, Andy Horning is leaving Indiana for Texas for a new job. Andy has been a great friend to many over the last decade, and has been the face of the libertarian cause within this state. For many of us, Andy is the first person in our lives explaining the rule of law, Constitution, and that we are in control of our government. As a small thank you, we are having goodbye party for Andy, giving us one last opportunity to say thanks to him. Please spread the word by inviting your friends. We are inviting the media that evening to show the impact of Andy's time in Indiana. If you aren't able to attend, please be sure to leave a note on his wall. Or do both!" From Andy's latest blog, We Declare: http://wedeclare.wordpress.com/ "... I have so many good friends. My friends in the freedom movement are my brothers and sisters. I'll not try to name names here; the list would be too long, and I'd feel awful should I offend by omission, or by putting the names in the wrong order. I love you guys. This is the perspective I should keep. It's certainly the one I prefer. I love to know those I love. I should let evil nonsense fall past me like water off a duck's back..." The 'Liberty Rider', Michael Maresco. 'The Liberty Rider', Michael Maresco, has set out on another epic journey. This one he has themed as "The Ride for Honesty". He will be crossing the State of Indiana this Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday; June 4-7th. Last year Michael rode 3700 miles from LA to DC promoting the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential campaign, gaining renown as 'The Ron Paul Rider'. This year his mission is education and enlightenment, distributing to County Sheriffs along his route copies of Ron Paul's The Revolution: A Manifesto, and Sheriff Richard Mack's The County Sheriff, America's Last Hope . Both available through Michael's website: http://libertyrider.com/ for your own distribution. From libertyrider.com: "The Ride for Honesty is a pure grassroots effort designed to increase honest, well informed discussion, on issues related to the socio-economic value of liberty, and what the loss of our freedoms mean to the individuals who makes up this great country. This will be accomplished by raising awareness, via media coverage of the ride, and by providing educational materials to concerned citizens along the way. In response to the recently leaked DHS documents, which label peaceful activists as potential ‘terrorists", the ride will go from the Statue of Liberty to Alcatraz, symbolizing America's apparent slide from Freedom to Fascism. In an effort to re-build healthy rapport between citizens and officials, the ride will visit County Sheriffs and State Governors to deliver educational materials, showcasing the solutions being promoted by the grassroots network known as "The r3VOLution" The goals are simple, achieving them will have deep benefit, for all concerned. It is a monumental task for one man, less so for a man with friends... Those of you who choose to help, will truly "be a part" of "something big". Is it a daunting task, yes. The pursuit of liberty demands bold actions "Tu ne cede malis sed contra audentior ito."-Virgil "Never give into evil, rather move more boldly against it!" " Michael will be traveling US 40 from Richmond to Indy, then US 36 from Indy to Terre Haute. You can find the particulars of his route and time table at: http://libertyrider.com/route-schedule/indiana-63-7/ Please help us show support and appreciation for his dedication, perseverance and commitment to the cause of Liberty as he travels across our state. Ways in which you can help show support for him are: Coordinating and locating overnight stays for him. Aiding him in navigating urban areas. SIgnage and such upport on his actual route. Enjoying and spreading his fellowship - plan to meet him on his route for the evening. Coordinating a meeting with Michael and your Sheriff. Taking him to dinner, Mike's Indiana iteinerary:
And of course, donating to his expenses is greatly appreciated. Mike's not a rich guy, and knows we're not either... so he's keeping his expenses to a spartan minimum, of which you can track on his site. If you could spare just a few bucks, 10-20. That each, from a couple of hundred people can add up quickly, so please consider aiding this worthy Patriot in his cause by Chipping IN a few bucks via his website. Speaking of his website, you really must go there. He hasa really cool tracking tool that shows his latest location in real time. Not to mention itinerary, blogs entries and pictures of throughout the trip. As well you can find a chipin button and purchase copies of The Revolution and County Sheriffs for your own County Sheriff. http://libertyrider.com Please contact Jerry Titus at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
